Actress Rami Chuene Leaves The Queen

Actress Rami Chuene has confirmed that she will be exiting popular Mzansi Magic’s telenovela The Queen.

Sunday World reported that Rami Chuene, who plays Gracious (TGOM) on ‘The Queen’ has been fired from cast. This comes after rumours surfaced that her relationship with The Fergusons had gone sour after she vocally supported Vatiswa Ndara and her open latter to the show’s producers.

In a series of Tweets on Sunday afternoon, Rami confirmed her exit from the show, but she didn’t get into details.

She said: “Yes, TGOM’s stint on The Queen Mzansi has come to an end. Unfortunately, I won’t be getting into details as advised by my legal team. I still have to finish shooting and I’m hoping to execute as excellently, exceptionally and professionally as I always have (sic).”

She also thanked fans for their support and blessings.

“Thank you for all the well wishes and blessings. It’s been a ride. We keep pushing and working because the show must go on no matter what” – she tweeted

The multi-talented actress has been with The Queen for since 2017.

Rami has had roles in numerous television series including iNkaba, Backstage, Rockville, Jozi Streets, It’s Complicated, Scandal!, Abo Mzala, Muvhango, Sokhulu & Partners and Harvest.
