South African singer Busisiwe Nqwiliso, best known as Bucie, will be hosting auditions in search of talented up and coming female vocalists. Having been in the music industry for 10 years, Nqwiliso wants to give back to the community by helping future stars.
“I am looking at empowering, mentoring and grooming young talented female vocalists,” she shared on social media.
The Superman vocalist launched her record label, Bucie Music to give young female artists a platform where they could perfect their craft, whilst being mentored by the best.
Her search for the “next best female vocalists” will see Bucie hosting auditions in two of the biggest townships in Gauteng – Thembisa and Soweto.
Auditions will be in Thembisa, Gata Lenna on February 17 at 11:00 to 14:00. Soweto auditions are still to be confirmed.
