With Kop preoccupied with what he considers to be his imminent death due to a suspected tumour, Mamokete desperately wants to hold on to something positive. She convinces Kop to celebrate their wedding anniversary with a party, inviting the community and also their children, Stone and Tshidi.
During the party, Mapula’s little cousin, Dineo is inconsolable as she desperately wants her beloved doll back from their shack that Gadifele, Mapula’s so-called aunt, has now taken over. In an effort to appease the little girl, Mamokete accompanies her to the shack to ask Gadifele for the doll.
When they arrive at the shack, Mamokete and Gadifele have a confrontation that quickly escalates when Gadifele pulls out a gun. The sound of the gunfire echoes through the neighbourhood. Find out how the drama unfolds on Monday, 18 April 2016.
