Mzansi DJ, Producer and Award winning Radio Presenter, DJ Keyez is proud to announce the release of his second single titled “JAIVA”. Produced by DJ Keyez and featuring the talented Mally & Nkiyase, Jaiva is a sing along summer song made for the streets and clubs. This is the ultimate Party season song.
This will be the first of many upbeat, dance floor hits DJ Keyez releases over the next few years. This song incorporates uniquely South African elements in both the beat as well as the lyrics. The beat is a Gqom style beat while the lyrics speak about the nighttime party scene we can often find in South African venues.
Versatility, creativity and flexibility behind the decks are key words in describing the talents of DJ Keyez. Whether the event calls for Soulful or Commercial House Music & Electronic Dance Music (EDM), this is one DJ who has all the bases covered. During the past couple of years he has gone from being a fan alone, to rocking dance floors in and around Johannesburg. After completing a DJ Course at the SOUL CANDI INSTITUTE OF MUSIC in 2011, DJ Keyez has been perfecting his skills over a wide variety of musical styles at a variety of venues and events.
DJ Keyez has played at some of the Top Night Clubs in and around Johannesburg. He has also performed at a couple of corporate events some as far as Sun City Resort.
With Such a varied background, he is gifted with a unique ability to blend new flavours and familiar sounds, creating a vibe that’s addictive to audiences. DJ Keyez is working towards being one of the hottest DJs in the country.
He has featured alongside well-known DJs in the South African Entertainment Industry in his quest to become one of South Africa’s successful DJs. In addition to that, he played LIVE on national station 5 FM (September
2012) & received raved reviews for his set. DJ Keyez also featured on the popular SABC 1 dance television show hosted by DJ Fresh & Euphonik, Club Culture (July 2012).
In addition, his mixes have been played on South Africa’s popular urban radio station 5 FM (Ultimix at 6 with DJ Fresh & The Krazy Shebeen Mix with KB) as well as Metro FM. 2014 DJ Keyez featured at the first Just Curious Awards, the popular Wits O-Week Beer Garden as well as the 2014 Vodacom Durban July where he played alongside some of South Africa’s top DJs.
2014 proved to be a good year for DJ Keyez as he had mixes featuring on DJ Fresh’s Fresh @ 5 Breakfast show and the Saturday afternoon show. February 2015 DJ Keyez dropped his first single “Devoted” which did pretty well on community radio stations. Second single, Jaiva dropped in September 2017 and he hopes it will be one of the big summer songs in the country.
DJ Keyez is also an award winning radio producer and presenter having walked away with 2 x Liberty Radio Awards at the 2017 Awards.
