Prolific Hip Hop group, Driemanskap returned to the pulpit of Hip Hop with the visuals of their latest smash hit titled Champion ft Chase. The music video for Champion is set to make its television debut on Channel O as of 16 Monday April.
The song comes with a world of excitement and that’s in many ways than one. The record is the first official single off their upcoming sophomore Hlala Nam album which is one of the highly anticipated album this year.
Driemanskap form the vanguard of the new generation of proudly South African Hip Hop artists who understand that Hip Hop, more than any other musical art form, is about addressing important issues and representing where you’re from. They are one of the pioneers of the Spaza movement, representing Cape Town with a rhyme style that combines their mother tongue, isiXhosa, with English and Cape Flats slang.
Driemanskap’s Champion music video will start airing on all other music channels next week after a successful exclusive debut on Channel O.
