GLITZ AND GLAM AT THE 3 DAYS TO GO MOVIE PREMIERES

It was all glitz and glam at the recent movie premieres in Durban and Johannesburg for local “dramedy”, 3 DAYS TO GO, that will open in cinemas nationwide tomorrow, 25 January 2019!

The Durban premiere took place at Ster-Kinekor, Gateway on 17 January 2019 and boasted a star studded red carpet including Bollywood actress, Lillete Dubey (Best Marigold Hotel, The Second-Best Marigold Hotel, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Monsoon Wedding), that came out all the way from India to promote this much anticipated film with fellow actors Leeanda Reddy, Jailoshini Naidoo, Kajal Bagwandeen, Jonathan Boynton-Lee, Tumi Morake, Zakeeya Patel and Rahul Brijnath, to name a few.

The Johannesburg premiere took place last night at Ster-Kinekor, Sandton City and audiences couldn’t get enough of the stars on the red carpet and this heart-warming film that serves a slice of life with a storyline applicable to any culture and race, with funny moments and deeply touching ones.

3 DAYS TO GO tells the story of adult siblings who, after the sudden death of their father, are forced to return to their childhood home – with an assortment of partners, children and issues in tow. They need to survive three days in each other’s company, under one roof, before they spread their father’s ashes and part ways.

The movie boasts an impressive cast, which includes, Leeanda Reddy, Bollywood’s Lillette Dubey, Jailoshini Naidoo, Kajal Bagwandeen, Rahul Brijnath, Pranesh Maharaj, Ruben Naidoo and Zakeeya Patel as the dysfunctional Isaac family. They are joined on screen by Jonathan Boynton-Lee, Tumi Morake and Ashish Gangarpersad. Highlighting Isaac’s affinity towards nurturing young talent, 3 DAYS TO GO also features newcomer Kiara Govender.

The film was produced in association with the KZN Film Commission (KZNFC), the IDC and the DTI. It will be released in cinemas nationwide on 25 January 2019 by Filmfinity (Pty) Ltd.
