SASSA grant payment dates for April 2023. The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA), which is responsible for distributing social grants in South Africa, has revealed the payment dates for April. Older persons will receive their grants first, starting on Tuesday, 4 April. Here are SASSA payment dates for April 2023.

Social Grants Payment Schedule for April 2023:
- The Older Persons Grant (as well as any grants linked to these accounts) will be paid on Tuesday, 4 April 2023.
- The Disability Grant (as well as any grants linked to these accounts) will be paid on Wednesday, 5 April 2023.
- All other grants will be paid on Thursday, 6 April 2023.
These Sassa payments can be received by SASSA beneficiaries from the relevant supermarkets such as Shoprite, Checkers, USave, Boxer and Pick n Pay. For better convenience to receive your grant money, SASSA grant payments can be made directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
