The Grammy-award-winning artist John Legend will kick off his tour on November 4 at the Dome, Johannesburg. American R&B artist has changed the date for the Johannesburg leg of his Darkness and Light tour.
John Legend was scheduled to perform at the Ticketpro Dome on November 3 and November 4, then the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on November 7, and closes off his tour at the GrandWest Grand Arena in Cape Town on November 9 and November 10.
On Friday, the organisers of the concert announced the singer would perform on November 4 and November 5, at the TicketPro Dome. Other tour dates were not affected.
“Fans can expect to hear John perform these new singles as well as his smash single All of Me from his critically acclaimed fourth studio album LOVE IN THE FUTURE, which claimed the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles Chart, as well as #1 at four formats of radio: Urban AC, Top 40, Rhythm, & Adult Top 40.
“The single marks Legend’s highest selling and charting single of his career to date, with sales over 5.5 million worldwide,” the organisers said.
