Morag Steyn, South African award-winning makeup artist continues to impress, named one of the best makeup artists in Africa at the beginning of 2022 she has now proved it, yet again by winning an African Movie Academy Award for best makeup in a film. The award ceremony was hosted in Lagos, Nigeria.

Morag has also worked with almost everyone in Africa and Bollywood, celebrities include Thapelo Moekena, Tshamano Sebe, Randeep Hooda, Kamal Hassan, Minnie Dlamini, Mrunal Thakur and Radhika Madan and many more.
Asked about how it was working on the South African film Angeliena and now winning one of the biggest awards on African soil, Steyn said:
“It was one of the most challenging projects I have ever worked on in my entire career. It is always a beautiful and rewarding feeling when my work is recognized and honoured. I am truly blessed to win an award of this stature in Africa.”
With over a decade and a half in the beauty, makeup and fashion industry coupled with a whole lot of travel experiences, Steyn has shaped an immaculate reputation which landed her international accreditation. Known for being an expert at creating signature, truly unique, genre bending makeup and hair styles for her clients and productions.
Now back in Johannesburg Steyn is working on new productions while also making time to host various make up skills development projects.
