Kwaito musician Mshoza, whose real name is Nomasonto Maswanganyi recently revealed that she has received a calling and she decided to accept it.

According to reports found on Daily Sun, Mshoza revealed that she is a thwasa (training to become a sangoma).
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the Kwaito star said that after years of fighting the call, she has decided to ukudla igobongo for six weeks so that she could understand her call more.
“The calling is something that has always been there. I believe people who have this special gift are born with it, it is not fashion or something that is exciting and everyone can just jump on it if they feel like it,” Mshoza told the publication.
She said she will still perform where she was booked before making the decision of becoming a sangoma but for now she won’t be accepting any gig bookings so that she can focus on her training.
“I will still be at shows I was booked for but won’t be engaging in certain things while doing igobongo. You keep thinking that you have so much to do and now is not the right time but you can only put it off for so long.”
Just a few days ago, she captioned her Instagram post:”Yes I didn’t believe in such but it got to me… yes ngiya thwasa… yes I strongly believe in God by all means I pray… Thokoza gogo👏👏👏 bhala mabhalane keh …. it doesn’t take away the fact that I am Gods creation (sic).”
