The festival will broadcast across Russia on their public broadcasting channel, and will take place from 20 to 22 July.

In November 2017, she shot to stardom by winning South African Idols Season 13, followed by a manic touring schedule through to February 2018. March and April were spent working on, writing and recording her debut album, whilst maintaining her busy touring schedule. Mid roll out of her studio recording, she toured to Sweden for some charity and performance work, which saw her meeting, performing and being honoured by Queen Silvia of Sweden.

Upon her arrival back in her home country, she dropped her Debut album “This Is Me”, alongside her smash hit single “Angifuni”. The album reached number one on the iTunes Charts on its first day, and the song has gone on to make waves in the country and is playlist on high rotation on all major radio stations. She then went on a rigorous promotional tour, and now finds herself jet setting off to St Petersburg, to be a part of Russia’s biggest cultural event, The White Nights of St Petersburg.

The festival, taking place 5 days after the World Cup Final, sees Paxton perform in Russia – an untapped market for her – and she could not be more excited. “It feels like a dream”, she exclaims, “I can’t believe I get to perform some of my new material for Russian audiences, and get to see the buzz of the Soccer World Cup aftermath. I really could not be more excited right now.”
