Courtesy of Cruiseabout, popular radio DJ, Sasha Martinengo and his wife, will be cruising the Mediterranean during September to explore the fast-growing cruising trend. The local cruise retailer has partnered with Sasha to showcase how exciting cruising has become.
Cruiseabout Dainfern, in partnership with Royal Caribbean South Africa, hosted an event on Friday, September 15, to finalise and celebrate Sasha’s travel itinerary and cruise plans with some festivities. “Cruiseabout is the fastest growing cruise retailer in South Africa and we are so excited and proud to have Sasha Martinengo ‘onboard’ during September and October to showcase his travels and cruising experience,” explains Divan Viljoen, Cruiseabout Marketing Campaign Manager.
Martinengo departs from South Africa, on Friday, 22 September, flying to Barcelona where he will board Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas cruise liner. Some of the city highlights of his trip which he will be posting about on social media include Provence, Nice, Rome, Florence and Naples, as well as fun activities that they will be doing onboard the cruise. His loyal followers and fans will be able to follow his cruising through his travel posts.
“Cruiseabout opened their 12th store in September in Hyde Park and we are looking forward to many more stores opening nationally. We believe that Sasha’s cruising experience will encourage others to consider the huge variety of cruise options locally and internationally, especially if they have never been on a cruise before,” concludes Divan.
