The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has released grants payment dates for the remainder of the 2022. Sassa grant payment schedule for the rest of 2022 will help you know exactly when will you receive your grant money. Here is the payment schedule for the rest of 2022.
The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) is the leader in the delivery of social security services. The mission of the Agency is to administer social security services to eligible children, older persons and people with disabilities. The R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant is also distributed by Sassa.
Sassa grant payments are paid by the Agency via CashSend, Bank and the Sassa Card. Payments can also be collected at selected supermarkets such as Shoprite, Boxer, Checkers, Pick n Pay or USave stores.

Sassa Grant Payment Schedule For Rest Of 2022
Here are the grant payment dates for the rest of 2022:
October 2022:
- Older person’s grant: Monday 3 October 2022
- Disability grant: Tuesday 4 October 2022
- Rest of the Sassa grants: Wednesday 5 October 2022
November 2022:
- Older person’s grant: Wednesday 2 November 2022
- Disability grant: Thursday 3 November 2022
- Rest of the Sassa grants: Friday 4 November 2022
December 2022:
- Older person’s grant: Thursday 1 December 2022
- Disability grant: Friday 2 December 2022
- Rest of the Sassa grants: Monday 5 December 2022
On the second day of every month, all qualifying beneficiaries receive their grants.
There is no fixed payment date for the temporary special Covid-19 SRD grant. The applicant will be paid for each month as long as they still meet the qualification criteria. Every month the application will be verified to ensure that the applicant still qualifies for that particular month.
Sassa also said the R350 grant never had fixed payment dates.
