Sassa payment dates for 2022 November are out. Approximately 18 million South Africans vulnerable to poverty or in need of state support receive social grants, relief assistance or social relief paid by the South African government. These social grants are distributed to individuals during the first few days of every new month. Here is when your November grants will be paid.
As from April 2022, Sassa permanent grants are paid from the second day of every new month.
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) begins distributing Sassa grants from the second day of each month. However, if the second day of a month falls on a weekend or public holiday, grants will be paid on the following working day.
Sassa Payment Dates 2022 November
Here are the Sassa Payment Dates for November 2022:
- Older Person’s Grant – From Wednesday 2 November 2022 – This includes any grants linked to this account
- Disability Grant – From Thursday 3 November 2022 – This includes any grants linked to this account
- All Other Grants – From Friday 4 November 2022
Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grants have no fixed dates. Beneficiaries can check their status on the Sassa SRD website at https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status. SASSA R350 beneficiaries can receive their grants as soon as they receive confirmation of payment from SASSA.
Beneficiaries are urged to wait for an SMS to say that they can collect their R350 grant and should not head out to collect it if they haven’t received an SMS.
SASSA previously confirmed, “there is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.”
