Here are the Sassa payment dates for December 2022. The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) will be distributing Sassa grants from Thursday, 1 December until Monday 5 December 2022. Please note that Sassa does not make payments on weekends.
Sassa responsible for distributing social grants to more than 16 million South Africans. The agency is also responsible for distributing the Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD Grant).
SASSA beneficiaries may collect their Sassa payments from selected supermarkets such as Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers, OK, Pick n Pay and USave, and also have the money deposited into their bank accounts or receive funds through their SASSA card or CashSend.
Here are the December Sassa payment dates.
- Older Persons/ Pensioners Grant: Thursday, 1 December 2022.
- Disability Grant: Friday, 2 December 2022.
- All other Grants: Monday, 5 December 2022.
