SASSA Reapplication for SRD R350 Grant at Srd.Sassa.Gov.Za

How to Update Your Information for The SRD R350 Grant Reapplication?

Clients can update personal information which was initially incorrectly provided on the SRD website and/or alter their responses to the screening questions asked in their application. This can be done as from Friday 01 July 2022 on the SRD website at https://srd.sassa.gov.za.

How to Complete SASSA Reapplication?

  1. Go to the SASSA SRD Website at srd.sassa.gov.za
  2. Scroll down to ‘Reconfirm your grant application’
  3. Click the yellow bar written ‘click here to reconfirm your existing application
  4. Enter your South African ID Number
  5. Enter your Mobile Number
  6. Click ‘send SMS
  7. You will receive a One-Time Pin (OTP) via SMS
  8. Enter your PIN
  9. Click on ‘verify PIN’
  10. Update Details
  11. Then follow all of the necessary steps to resubmit your SRD R350 grant application.

How To Reapply For SASSA SRD Grant

  1. Go to Sassa Reapplication of srd Grant 2022 link srd.sassa.gov.za.
  2. Enter your Mobile Number.
  3. Click SMS.
  4. You’ll receive a One Time Pin (OTP)
  5. Enter the OTP.
  6. Continue to complete the SASSA R350 application by filling in the required information.
  7. Click Submit to sent your application to SASSA.

SASSA Grant Appeal

You may, within a period of 30 days but not exceeding 90 days, appeal SASSA’s decision to the Independent Tribunal for Social Assistance Appeals (ITSAA). To submit your Sassa grant appeal, follow these steps:

  1. Double check that the information you provided to SASSA, which is reflected on the SRD DSD Appeal Electronic Platform is complete and correct.
  2. Where necessary, update your contact information by clicking on this link. This is very important in the event that your appeal is successful. If your appeal is successful the Independent Tribunal will direct SASSA to initiate the payment of the Covid-19 SRD directly to you and accordingly need to have your correct contact information.
  3. After updating your information on the link provided, if applicable, click “Save” and thereafter you will be automatically redirected back to the SRD DSD Appeal website to continue to lodge your appeal.
  4. Appellants or their proxy will have to confirm that they have read and accepted the clauses in the Declaration and Consent Documents.
  5. Click “Submit” and look out for the confirmation message on the page that your application was submitted successfully.
  6. Please note, an appeal application needs to be lodged in relation to each month where a person is rejected by SASSA, if in disagreement with the decision.
