The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced the Sassa payment dates for October 2022 for permanent social grants. Here are the Sassa Grants: Older Persons Grant, Disability Grant and Children’s Grant. According to Sassa’s payment schedule, payment dates for October 2022 for social grants will start with the older persons’ grants which will be paid from Monday 3 October 2022, followed by the disability grants on Tuesday 4 October 2022 and lastly, the children’s grants which will be paid on Wednesday 5 October 2022.
According to the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa), about 31% of the South African population relies on social grants, and additionally, there are approximately 10 million beneficiaries who depend on the monthly R350 special Covid-19 social relief grant.
During the first week of each month, the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) distributes permanent grants to eligible applicants. There are several grants available, including the Disability, Older Persons’, Care Dependency, and Child Support grants.
SASSA Payment Dates for October 2022
Here are the Sassa payment schedule for October 2022:
- Monday 3 October 2022: Older Persons Grant.
- Tuesday 4 October 2022: Disability Grant.
- Wednesday 5 October 2022: Children’s Grant.
According to Sassa, each month, new Sassa payment dates are released for the permanent social grants. These grants include the Older Persons grant, Disability Grant and the children support grants. Normally, these Sassa grants are distributed on the second day of every new month.
When Are Sassa Payment Dates?
Sassa Pay Dates: Sassa grants are paid from the second day of every month. In the past, these grants were provided on the first Wednesday of a month.
