Luna, who has worked with the likes of Manu WorldStar, Rouge, and Maraza, will also travel to the home of hip-hop, New-York as part of his trip.
“I’m really trying to expand and get my music out to the world,” says Luna. “I believe my sound is international and there’s no better place to test it than in the United States. In my first EP I said that I was, ‘Papi Florentino International’ as a way of putting it out into the universe and now I’m here to make it a reality.”
Luna is currently riding the wave of his hit single, #FlorentinoMariachi, which has been playlisted on MTV Base, Channel O and Trace TV.
Since being featured on a four-page spread on Africa’s leading hip-hop magazine, HYPE Magazine, Luna’s continued to shine well into 2018, receiving industry co-signs along the way from the likes of DJ Jawz, Shane Eagle and Khuli Chana.
He’s also been featured on prominent national platforms such as The Star, City Press, Metro FM, Gagasi FM, Daily Sun, IOL, Cliff Central, Channel 24 and Shiz Live. His focus for the rest of the year is to shoot more music videos and continue growing his fan base.
