South West Gauteng College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). About South West Gauteng College
South West Gauteng College (SWGC) is a public TVET college, formerly, FET college. SWGC operates under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) in terms of the Continuing Education and Training Act, Act No.16 of 2006, as amended.
It is registered with Umalusi and several other Sector Education and Training authorities. The college is one of the biggest colleges in South Africa, with over 30 000 enrollments. The SWGC has 6 campuses throughout Gauteng province (Soweto, Randburg and Roodepoort) and facilitates distance and e-learning.
The South West Gauteng TVET College’s head office is located in Soweto at Molapo Campus.
