Stan B Set To Perform at Back To The City 2018

Multi talented rapper Stanley Mahlangu better known by his stage name Stan B is set to perform at this year’s 12th Annual Back To The City International Festival.

The rapper, who hails from Soshanguve, North of Pretoria, will be the first ever artist from Sosha to perform at the biggest hip-hop festival in Africa on the 27th of April 2018 Mary Fitzgerald Square Newtown, Johannesburg. He will be sharing the stage with headline acts such as Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rick and Emtee to name a few.

The event features 60 artists, 30 DJs, Graffiti artists, Break-dancers, BMX, Skaters, 10 live bands, Freestyle Football, Stalls all representing the pinnacle of artistic expression from South Africa and a surprise international act.

Stan B came first place twice on SABC 1 youth show Jam Alley in 2009 and 2010 in a row, then went on to perform and scoop an interview on Etv’s Shiz Niz now called Shiz Live in 2009. His energetic and go getter attitude earned him numerous print media articles such as Daily Sun, Sunday Sun & Hype Magazine to name a few.

Stan B won Metro FM’s Rap Activity Jam battle hosted by Dj Oskido in 2014. He also performed on SABC 1’s youth Show Yo TV alongside Jaziel brothers and Maggz in 2015.

His new song titled “mogwanthi freestyle” is currently buzzing in Pretoria. Stan B also has a collaboration album out with fellow rapper Joint Pusher which is available on all digital platforms.
