Trevor Noah compares EFF Leader Julius Malema to Donald Trump

South African-born comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host, who is currently in the US has compared the EFF leader, Julius Malema to American President Donald Trump.

Trevor Noah, who currently hosts the popular US late-night show, “The Daily Show,” said that Julius Malema “speaks about genocide like he’s remodelling a kitchen”, and in the video shared on social media, Trevor played a few clips of Juju’s fierce rhetoric to his American audience.

Noah, also referred to Julius as a “popular anti-establishment politician”.

“If you think Trump is bad, wait until you see how Julius treats the press,” Noah said before playing a series of controversial clips of Julius Malema.

“South Africa also has a popular, anti-establishment politician in this election. His name is Julius Malema. And if you think Trump is bad, wait until you see how he treats the press.”

“He just speaks about genocide like he’s talking about remodelling his kitchen! He’s like ‘maybe I will break down that wall, and change the cabinets, and kill all the white people’…”

Soon after posting the video clip on Twitter comparing Malema to Trump, the South African comedian faced a backlash from fans saying Noah is doing more damage to the EFF Leader and it’s unacceptable.

“Trevor Noah is now being used by the US to disseminate Propaganda against our own African leaders? He’s actually doing more damage to our African reputation by perpuating African stereotypes. Julius Malema is not my fave but this is unacceptable, all this for a few white laughs? (sic).”
