Watch Cassper Nyovest gets the land back in new video Ksazobalit

South African recording artist and record producer Cassper Nyovest released a new music video for his latest single titled Ksazobalit on Friday.

In the music video, the 28-year-old rapper is wearing a farmer’s outfit and dancing among the fields. He also drives an old tractor around, much to the apparent distress of a big white farmer coming out of his farmhouse.

The music video has since received a lot of attention, in particular from the Economic Freedom Fighters for its portrayal of land reform.

Julius Malema

EFF leader Julius Malema took to Twitter to thank Cassper for portraying land expropriation without compensation.

“Thank you very much my brother @CassperNyovest for the powerful music video, the message is very clear that indeed when we get our land #ksazobalit. #WeAreReady #LandIsDignity (sic)” – Malema tweeted.

A cameo of Pearl Thusi on a horse also reveals that the apparent Twitter “fight” between Cassper and Pearl on Thursday was just a publicity stunt.
