Actress and model Pearl Thusi has described how she fled from a gunman who demanded her cellphone in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
The actress was driving in Braamfontein in the CBD when the incident happened. Pearl Thusi said a man pulled a gun on her and told her to hand her phone threatening to shoot her if she refused.
“Someone definitely just pulled a gun on me on the road in Braam while I was in my car. Then said I must give him my phone or he’ll shoot me. I said no, then drove away (luckily the light just turned green). I only started freaking out a few minutes later (sic)” – Pearl Thusi tweeted with a laughing emoji.
The Quantico star further added that what makes her laughs is how she was so calm about it at the time. “A very calm ‘no’,” – she described. Pearl also thanked God for escaping the robbery unharmed.
