South African actress and singer, Fulu Mugovhani, is set to attend the AYANDA film screening in Boston U.S.A today.
Fulu Mugovhani is the lead actress in AYANDA and has received global rave reviews for her performance in this coming of age film which debuted locally in October.
World Fiction Competition
AYANDA held its world premiere screening at the 2015 Los Angeles Film Festival winning the Special Jury Prize in the World Fiction Competition and was recently bought by Ava Duvernay for U.S distribution.
Fulu Mugovhani got her big break after being cast as Nala in an international production of the “Lion King”. During that period, Fulu resided in Hong Kong for a year and a half. Fulu is best known for her roles in e.tv soapie Scandal as Anzani, and as Nikki in the Mzansi Magic musical comedy-drama television miniseries, Remix.
