GDE stands for Gauteng Department of Education. GDEAdmissions’ mission is to ensure that quality learning and teaching takes place in the classroom every day.
Why Must I Care About GDEAdmissions?
Education in South Africa is compulsory from the age of seven (grade 1) to the age of 15 (grade 9), and in total, the South African education system runs all the way from grade 0 (also known as Grade R or the reception year) to grade 12.
As a parent, it is important to familiarize yourself with the GDEAdmissions online registration process. You also need to know the required documents that must be submitted, what to do if your child’s GDEAdmissions is denied and also, how to choose a school for your child.
