Gooderson Leisure invests in Knysna Resort

Leading hospitality group, Gooderson Leisure, has purchased its first Western Cape property – Knysna Chalets located near the picturesque village and popular tourist destination.

Established in 1957, the Gooderson Leisure Corporation now owns and manages a variety of different leisure destinations within KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga with holiday offerings that span the coast, the majestic Drakensberg mountains, game viewing and cultural experiences in Zululand and the historical battlefields.

Properties include the Tropicana Hotel on the Marine Parade in Durban, the Drakensberg Gardens Golf and Spa Resort based in the Southern Drakensberg and Monks Cowl in the central Drakensberg, Dumazulu Lodge & Traditional Village and Bushlands Game Lodge in Hluhluwe, the Natal Spa Hot Springs & Leisure Resort located along the Battlefields Route between Vryheid and Paulpietersberg and Kloppenheim Country Estate in Mpumalanga.

Knysna Chalets consists of 28 units. Each of these can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults in the main bedroom & 2 kids on sleeper couches in the lounge. All chalets are comfortably furnished and equipped with a kitchenette, TV and M-Net, braai facilities, an upright standing fan, a heater fan and Wi-Fi.

The resort has a games room, children’s playground, and swimming pool and each chalet features a private braai area.
