Limpopo’s entertainment industry is in mourning following the tragic passing of comedian and content creator Kagiso “The Pope” Ramoshai. Ramoshai was involved in a car accident that claimed his life.

The news of his passing was confirmed by the Limpopo Artists Movement (LAM) who expressed their shock and dismay at the loss of a rising star. “Kagiso carved an inspiring name for himself,” said LAM’s Mphoza Mashabela, highlighting Ramoshai’s journey from music recording and radio broadcasting to prominence in the content creation space. Mashabela also commended Ramoshai’s role in identifying and nurturing talent from remote areas of Limpopo.
Ramoshai, known as “The Pope” on social media, was a beloved figure in the Limpopo entertainment scene. Details surrounding the car accident are not yet available.
