Lasizwe Dambuza’s sister Khanyi Mbau is upset with her little brother for allegedly claiming to have bought house in Sandton.
Speaking to DRUM magazine, Khanyi “I‘m very upset at him for doing that. He lied – the apartment is a rental. He told DJ Fresh he bought it and he went onto the breakfast show to speak about it and it’s not true.”
Mbau also added that it’s not the first time her younger brother lies.
“It’s not the first time he is pulling a stunt like this and we have warned him but he will learn and eventually grow to know you can’t lie about something like this,” Khanyi Mbau added.
Two weeks ago, Lasizwe took to social media where he announced that he bought a new house in Sandton. The YouTube sensation was recently interviewed by Fresh Breakfast Show team on Metro FM where he talked about his road to success and details about his new Sandton house.
In the interview, Lasizwe mentioned that he also thanks his boyfriend Marcus (not his real name) who helped him get the upmarket home.
Taking to Twitter, Blogger Phil Mphela asked Lasizwe why he lied about buying a house.
“So Lasizwe lied about buying a house. Why kiddo? You are a star and the blessing would have come gradually in its own time. The pressure to slay must not ruin the brand and audience influence you have,” – Phil tweeted.
The blogger further added that “You should have corrected the headlines that said you bought a house. You should have made it clear that the apartment is not yours or its a rental. Your fans deserved that honesty from you. You let people congratulate you for a falsehood, that is lying and dishonesty.”
