Radio personalities Pearl Modiadie and Thomas Msengana have been revealed as this year’s SAFTAs hosts. This is the first time the Metro FM lunch time DJs will be joining the South African Film and Television Awards as the main hosts.

The 2019 South African Film and Television Awards ceremony will be held at Sun City in North West on Saturday.
Taking to Twitter to share the news with her fans, Pearl tweeted: “Truly honoured to be gracing the SAFTAs stage as HOST alongside @thomasmsengana
“I look forward to a great evening of celebrating South Africa’s finest! #SAFTAs13” she tweeted.
The 13th annual Safta Awards will take place on Saturday and will be broadcast live on SABC2 from 19:00.
