Rapper Gigi Lamayne, whose real name is Genesis Gabriella Tina Manney caused a frenzy on social media after her suicidal tweets.

Gigi, who previously opened about suffering from depression, sent South Africa into a panic state on Saturday with her “ominous tweets.” This comes after the 24-year-old posted her birth and a date of death – 7 July 1994 – 3 November 2018.
The day before that, she tweeted “The End.” The tweet was later deleted after fans speculated that she was in hospital. She also tweeted: “We are all human and under pain and pressure, we crack. The therapy I’m getting has Made it all better. I’m starting to see. I was hurt way before I was hurt (sic).”
In September, Lamayne opened up to Cosmopolitan about her earlier tweets about her depression.
“Today marks my seventh year fighting and living with depression. I’m thankful to my friends and family who’ve supported me this long. The downs couldn’t be easy,” read one of the tweets she discussed.
