The DJ and Producer Sketchy Bongo got married this past weekend to Blogger and his long-time girlfriend Chaz Moodley on a remote Caribbean island.
Yuvir Pillay, better known by his stage name Sketchy Bongo, is a South African record producer from Durban. Bongo has worked with artists such as AKA, Da Les, Shekinah and Aewon Wolf. His signature is the ski mask that he is constantly seen wearing.
The wedding was attended by the likes of Danny K, Jimmy Nevis, Andrew and Brian Chaplin of the hit duo Locnville among others.
It was an auspicious event with the stunning bride and groom saying “I do” in a traditional Indian ceremony.
According to Public Eye Maritzburg, a day before the wedding East Coast Radio presenter Jane Linley-Thomas decided to play a prank on the soon-to-be husband by saying that the venue was double booked and that he would have to share with another couple leaving Sketchy noticeably agitated by the news.
Lucky for Sketchy it was all a big prank in the name of fun opening the door for a lovely trouble free wedding.
Sketchy took to social media to thank all those who attended saying, “Thank you for all the wishes and congratulations. We are #married . Thank you to everyone who made this the best day for us. The stunning bride had her hair and make-up done by celebrity make-up artist Neil Ramautar.
