How to Check SRD Status Online
To check SRD Status online, you need a mobile device, a computer or laptop. Make sure you are connected to the internet. Have your ID number and cellphone number with you. These must be the details you used when applying for the SRD grant. Once you have all the necessary information to perform the SRD status check, you can now visit the srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status check site. Here’s how to check SRD status online.
- Step 1: Go to the SASSA SRD Check link srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
- Step 2: Enter ID number and your cellphone number
- Step 3: Then click “Submit” to check your status
- Step 4: You will be able to see your SRD status online

SASSA SRD Payment Dates for February 2022
Thursday 3 February 2022 to Tuesday 8 February 2022 is reserved for the payment of old age, disability and child grants. The rest of the month is dedicated to the payment of R350 SRD grants. The last three digits of the beneficiaries’ identity numbers indicate the day on which they can visit their nearest Post Office to collect their R350 SRD grant.

- Step 2: Search for the ‘Application for Reconsideration’ tab.
- Step 3: Click on where it says ‘click here to apply for reconsideration’.
- Step 4: You will be asked to provide your ID number and Mobile number.
- Step 5: Follow the prompts to complete the reconsideration of your payment.
