In the final leg of Presenter Search on 3 auditions, thousands of hopefuls flocked to the popular Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg in the hopes of impressing guest judges and landing a coveted spot as a presenter on SABC 3. Camera crews were out in full force filming all the action for the new season of Presenter Search on 3.
Hosted by Pabi Moloi, the auditions allow every day South Africans the opportunity to make their dreams of being a TV presenter come true in an exciting reality TV format which tests their ability to showcase their best presenting skills while being put to the test in a variety of challenges.
Guest judges in Johannesburg included previous winner Jonathan Boynton-Lee, Lerato Kganyago, Bonnie Mbuli, Leigh-Anne Williams, Nick Hamman, Lorna Maseko, Jade Hubner and Ewan Strydom. Johannesburg boasted the largest number of contestants as people came out in full force over the three-day auditions.
With the Johannesburg auditions done and dusted, the race for this once-in-a-lifetime prize continues with call backs and challenges that will help judges Patience Stevens, Sbusiso Kumalo, Jeannie D and DJ Fresh develop the contestants which viewers will be able to watch on the show’s upcoming season.
