Here are a few tips and tricks that I follow to make sure I always travel more hygienically:

  1. Ensure your surroundings is as clean as possible

I travel with a pack of sanitizer wipes and ensure that I wipe down all the surfaces that I would normally touch in a plane or bus. For example, the touch screens, armrests, the table and sometimes even the window. You can also use a disinfectant spray for a quick spritz.

  1. Wash your hands constantly

Try and wash your hands as much as possible, I also carry a bottle of hand sanitizer with me just in case.

  1. Wipe down your devices

Often people forget to do this, but you need to wipe down your phone, tablet, or computer on a regular basis with a sanitizer wipe. Make sure you also take off the cover when you do this.

  1. Pre-game

Try and get your immune system as healthy as possible before you travel. Stock up on the vitamin C and Echinacea force for that little extra boost.

  1. Carry Tissues

This helps in more than one way. It will come in handy when you are about to sneeze as well as when someone else around you start sneezing. If someone around you is sneezing, press the tissue to your nose for 30 seconds and keep your eyes shut.

  1. Change as soon as you arrive at your destination

Most of us arrive at our destination and immediately want to go explore, if you can, rather shower and put on a change of clothes. This will help the spread of any germs in your hotel room as well.

These are just a few tips and tricks that will ensure that you travel as hygienically as possible.
