VUT Blackboard is the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) student portal. This E-Learning Management System (LMS) or Vutela, gives students access to VUT blackboard Portal (https://vut.blackboard.com) where they can carry out academic activities.

VUTela is the Vaal University Of Technology Blackboard. With Vutela, VUT seeks to improve learning process for its students. VUTela or VUT Blackboard, is a Learning Management System (LMS) that allows VUT students to attend online classes, submit assignments, check timetables and download study guides for free.
Once you have access to the Vutela blackboard, you can start performing academic activities anywhere and everywhere. You need your vutela login details (username and password) to access the VUT blackboard learn / Vutela VUT student portal.
How Does VUT Blackboard Work?
The Vaal University of Technology (VUT) Blackboard works the same was as other student portals. This e-learning platform allows lecturers / instructors to upload courses and course materials such as lecture notes, study guides, course outlines, recommended reading books, videos and many more for students.

- Step 1: Open your internet browser e.g. Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox
- Step 2: Go to Vutela Blackboard Portal at https://vut.blackboard.com/
- Step 3: Enter your username and password
- Step 4: Click ‘Login’
Once you’ve logged in to Vutela, scroll down the page to ‘Course Categories’ and ‘Select’ your School. Once you’ve chosen your school, you can therefore, select your course or check for your course in your department. Vutela allows VUT students to see the content for their course.

How to Reset VUT Blackboard Password?
To reset your Vutela / VUT Blackboard password, you need to visit https://vut.blackboard.com/ and click on “Forgot Password”. To change your password, provide information for one option only: Username or Email Address.
USERNAME OPTION
To change your password, type your First Name, Last Name, and Username. You need an active email address associated with your account to receive instructions. Your current password remains active until you change it. Click “Submit‘ once you’ve provided the above information.
EMAIL ADDRESS OPTION
Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address to change the password. You need an active email address associated with your account to receive instructions. Your current password remains active until you change it. Click ‘Submit‘ to proceed.
