Following his single that was well received by his audience, Xenlaii is taking a different turn by releasing new gospel hip hop single titled: “Ballito Prayer”.

Born and bred in Pietermaritzburg, Xolani Thabani Mchunu better known as Xenlaii, lost both his parents at a tender age a young age and that has taught him to be independent and not to be afraid to try new experiences in life. , he has gone long time without connecting to his spiritual side and he he decided to record this single by the ocean in Ballito hoping to inspire, create good vibes and expand his message.
“Recording this single was a bit challenging for me as I have never done any gospel song before. I have been into RnB, Love songs but never gospel. I love challenging myself. I am not afraid to try something new. Besides that, it’s Easter time and we should never forget about the youth that loves and enjoys Hip Hop so they can still be connected to God through their favorite genres”, says Xenlaii.
“This song is a search for spiritual cleansing and realignment with God after being reminded by vastness of the ocean. I have realized that there is a greater power than myself that I can consult”, he added.
