The city of Durban, located on the east coast of South Africa, is known for its vibrant energetic atmosphere was the perfect setting for the recent Red Bull Dance Your Style.
The Durban qualifiers took place this past weekend, which brought together some of the country’s best dancers to compete for a chance to represent Durban at the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final.
This week, we added the 1st female who is the 5th finalist to the line-up of Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final taking place 2nd September. Yolanda “Killer Machine” Joja was added to the list of finalists who will be competing for crown to represent Mzansi at the world final in Germany. When Yolanda was crowned Durban’s best, she said; “The last round was difficult, as I had to bring all energy that I had since the knockout stages.” “I’ll be studying the winners from other regions to improve my own dance style and I can’t wait to bring it to the National Final here in Durban”. she added
The event not only provided a platform for dancers to showcase their talent, but it also served as a reminder of the importance of accurate and timely weather forecasts in ensuring the success and smooth execution of outdoor events like Red Bull Dance Your Style in Durban.
