Vth Season unlocks Uganda and Rwanda for SA artists with East Africa business expansion

Vth Season has facilitated shows for Heavy K and Cassper Nyovest in Uganda and Mama Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Zahara in Rwanda as it expands its business operations to East Africa.

Vth Season facilitated the booking of Drum Boss, Heavy K, for the Blankets And Wine festival which took place this past weekend and saw Heavy K be the first Afro House DJ to perform live to an audience of 7000 people in Kampala and gain a new fan base.

Last month, the record label brought Cassper Nyovest for his first show in Uganda which saw him pull the biggest crowd for a Hip Hop artist in Kampala. Before that Vth Season took Afro Soul singer and songwriter, Berita to Uganda, and this July Vth Season will take Mama Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Zahara to Rwanda.

Vth Season intends to play a key role in bridging music and entertainment between East and Southern Africa and will present a turnkey solution to South African artists that would like to extend their music, brand and presence in East Africa.

Off the back of booking Heavy K, for the Blankets And Wine festival, Raphael Benza of Vth Season is speaking at the DOADOA conference taking place in Kampala, Uganda where he will sit on various panel sessions with local industry experts, from government ministers to stakeholders in entertainment across the continent. The DOADOA conference started yesterday and Raphael Benza will form part of more panel discussions tonight.

One of the most fitness bunnies in South Africa, Sbahle Mpisane, has graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Celebrity fitness trainer Sbahle Mpisane has obtained a degree in Housing and Town planning on Monday.

When asked about choosing the UKZN, Sbahle said “I chose UKZN because it’s always easier to stay grounded when you are close to home. From studying architecture to housing‚ it all goes back to passion in technical drawings‚ reading maps and enjoying practical work.”
