Scandal actress Mvelo Makhanya has a new set of wheels – a white Mini Cooper. The 20-year-old currently stars as Lindiwe Ngema, a rebellious teenager who lives with her parents in a backroom, on the e.tv soapie.
“Yes! It’s exactly what I wanted and more! The interior, the speed and the sound! Anyone who knows me knows how much I love cars. So, I’m very happy and content with my new baby”, Mvelo tells DRUM.
While she didn’t rush out to buy the first car she saw, her preference in clear. “I didn’t exactly have a time limit, it was about time. I wanted a car and I got one,” she explains.
Though it’s not her first car, the Nkandla-born actress says her car is as satisfying as she thought it would be. She has previously owned a black Mini Cooper and has used Uber for her travels, but that is now a thing of the past.
