Hillsong Church South Africa. Sunday services will continue online during Alert Level 3. The church said in an official statement.
The leadership of Hillsong Church South Africa has decided to continue doing church services online only. This decision follows the recent national address by President Cyril Ramaphosa announcing that churches will be permitted to gather (up to 50 people) from the 1st of June.
We miss gathering physically as a church community. There is nothing quite like the power of worshipping God together under one roof. However, our highest priority is the safety of our congregation and the people of South Africa.
Our church will continue to care for, and communicate with, our congregation through phone calls, social media, emails and various online platforms (including online groups and online courses to equip and support each other). We will also keep providing food parcels, hand sanitizer and face masks to those who are the most vulnerable at this time.
