Episode 1253 – Wednesday 1 February 2023

Zimele processes that the divorce has happened, and remembers better times with MaZulu. MaZulu struggles to believe that Zakithi could’ve really betrayed her. Jason drops a surreptitious warning to MaZulu not to pursue a case against Maharaj.

Phakade convinces the gobela to perform some rites at John Doe’s grave. Khemisi is revealed to have MaNdlovu isikwama!

Episode 1254 – Thursday 2 February 2023

Nomusa continues with her plan to fall pregnant, while Thu tries hard to resist any change in the status quo. The body of the John Doe is exhumed from Phakade’s land. When the media accuse Zimele of faking his death, Zimele shows up a uMbumbulu and opens the coffin.

Episode 1255 – Friday 3 February 2023

The family is shocked by MaZulu’s accusation that Zakithi helped Maharaj to steal her shares. Zithulele confronts Zakithi and forces her to confess. Zimele confides to Fikile that he’s going to destroy Maluju, and she will be the one who does it.

Episode 1256 – Monday 6 February 2023

Nokuzola tells MaZulu that she has compromising information about Maharaj that could be used to get her shares back. Shria tries to probe Jason about his dealings with Maharaj and MaZulu, but he gets offended and walks out. Nomusa is worried that she may already be pregnant.

Episode 1257 – Tuesday 7 February 2023

Nirupa tells Shria they can no longer trust Maharaj blindly. MaZulu asks Nkululeko for help destroying Maharaj’s evidence, but he doesn’t commit. Nokuzola stays over at the Bhengu house after working late.

Episode 1258 – Wednesday 8 February 2023

Shria searches Maharaj’s office but comes up empty. Later, she spies on his laptop and finds an encrypted folder of interest. Maharaj is attacked by a masked man.

MaZulu demands Zakithi’s Maluju shares in return for her forgiveness. After overhearing Nomusa talking about being pregnant, Lindo spills the beans to Thu Sheleni.

Episode 1259 – Thursday 9 February 2023

Nkululeko breaks into Maharaj’s room and steals some info. Fikile releases more damaging info about Maluju and finds the images of MaZulu that Maharaj created on Sunny’s laptop. Zithulele succumbs to his feelings for Nokuzola and they make love, but afterwards they promise not to sleep with each other again.

Episode 1260 – Friday 10 February 2023

Sibongile and Zithulele spend some quality time together on the eve of his court appearance and land up in bed. Zimele wants MaZulu to vote with him and MaZulu confronts Zimele about sabotaging the company. Shria worries about who Zakithi will vote with but won’t let Maharaj put pressure on her now.

Episode 1261 – Monday 13 February 2023

Nomusa is crushed to discover that Thu Sheleni is not as excited about the baby, but instead deems it more of a responsibility. Nirupa on the other hand is not so chuffed about the victory and questions the lengths Maharaj had to go through to obtain this win.

Episode 1262 – Tuesday 14 February 2023

Phakade is shocked to learn from Zakithi that she voted Zimele and Nkululeko out the company. Nirupa chides Shria for gloating about their win, and holds that they are now complicit in whatever Maharaj did for them to secure the bag. Zimele’s portrait is returned to Nkululeko’s apartment.

Episode 1263 – Wednesday 15 February 2023

Thu Sheleni starts his new job, but is miserable about the way his life is going. In a bidding war, MaZulu wins and Nkululeko signs over his shares. Meanwhile Sibongile rubs Zithulele the wrong way when she does a photo shoot without talking to him about it.

Episode 1264 – Thursday 16 February 2023

Maharaj and Shria are not happy to find out that Nkululeko sold his shares to MaZulu, but MaZulu is thrilled about it. Zimele mourns his defeat. Zithulele struggles to share himself between Nokuzola and Sibongile.

Episode 1265 – Friday 17 February 2023

Nokuzola suggests a DNA test from a shocked Zithulele. Nomusa breaks the news that she is leaving the commune. Maharaj hears that Nirupa has banned him from the house and he is reeling, only to get a surprise visit from a family member.

Episode 1266 – Monday 20 February 2023

The Bhengus are rocked by the news of the paternity test, except for Nkululeko who seems to take it in his stride. Shria has a heart to heart with her aunt and asks Maharaj why he has kept her away all these years. Fikile’s cousin rolls into town and immediately makes an impression on Nkululeko.

Episode 1267 – Tuesday 21 February 2023

Sibongile finds out that Nokuzola has moved into the Bhengu house. Sibongile arrives to find Zithulele kissing Nokuzola and Nozi. Maharaj warns Madhuri to keep away from Shria, but Shria is intrigued to get to know the Maharaj side of her family better.

Episode 1268 – Wednesday 22 February 2023

Poppie and Thandeka both pitch to Fikile to be manager, Thu Sheleni arrives asking for his old job back, and Fikile announces Batho as the new trial manager. The crew are upset that Batho is the manager instead of one of them, and Batho puts them all in their place.

Maharaj has a strange reaction to the petunias on the memorial plaque. Nirupa’s curiosity is piqued.

Episode 1269 – Thursday 23 February 2023

Nirupa is moved by Vivek’s reaction to discovering his children, and decides to reunite them by inviting them all to dinner. When Vivek arrives Maharaj and Madhuri are overcome with fear and flee. The Emsamo staff are offended at Batho’s high-handedness, and Lindiwe hatches a plan to sabotage her.

Sibongile locks Nokuzola out of Zithulele’s room, and the argument wakes MaNdlovu.

Episode 1270 – Friday 24 February 2023

Shria and Nirupa hear the true story of how Vivek treated Maharaj and Madhuri and their mother. Zimele tells Nkululeko that because Nozi is a girl he should not go ahead with the DNA test, but Fikile encourages him to fight for what he believes is true.

Sibongile causes more tension when she asserts that Nkululeko has a right to challenge the test result.

Episode 1271 – Monday 27 February 2023

Mira arrives home and is shocked to find Maharaj in the house. The Emsamo gang tell Fikile they won’t work under Batho. In turn, Batho wants Fikile to fire everyone. Sibongile, acting on Lindiwe’s advice, plays a new strategy and wins a night with Zithulele in her bed.

Episode 1272 – Tuesday 28 February 2023

When Vivek shows up at the house to speak to Madhuri, Maharaj catches them together and attacks Vivek brutally and possibly kills him. MaNdlovu shoots down the idea of paying inhlawulo until Zithulele resolves his mess.

After nearly coming to blows, Sibongile and Nokuzola unite to demand Zithulele make a choice, but once more, he can’t.
