How To Activate a Rain SIM Card

Once you’ve received your Rain SIM Card, register it on Rain’s website. You will also be required to register for RICA using your national ID or your passport. Follow the below steps to activate your Rain SIM card.

  • Step 1: Visit www.rain.co.za
  • Step 2: Click on “Activate SIM”
  • Step 3: Create an account
  • Step 4: Choose your plan and enter SIM code
  • Step 5: Register payment details
  • Step 6: Register for RICA online

If your SIM was delivered by one of their courier partners (RAM or CCD), it has already been RICAed. Please wait for activation.
