In last week’s exciting episode of Tropika Smoooth Fan, Ndumiso Mlangani proved he was Clement Maosa’s smooothest fan. This week, it’s actress Letoya Makhene’s turn to find her biggest fan as the ultimate celebrity quiz show continues.

Letoya Makhene is an actress, singer and TV personality who has shot to fame over the past few years. Letoya’s career started when she was cast in an advert at the tender age of nine. She then became a presenter on KTV before moving to YoTV. When she was 14, Letoya formed the group S’kool Girlz with her sisters which saw the star break into the music industry. Letoya’s presenting career got a boost after she became a co-host on the second season of Idols South Africa and appeared in popular soapies like Isidingo and Generations. Today, the star plays Tshidi on Generations: The Legacy.

This week, four die-hard celebrity fans will compete in various interactive games in the hopes of being crowned Letoya’s smooothest fan. The winner will make it to the finals where they will compete against the smoootest fans of the other celebrity contestants where, after another round of games, the two top contestants will go head to head to win R250 000 cash and a Honda Amaze!

Rapper Boity Thulo apologizes for old homophobic tweets

Media personality and South African rapper Boity Thulo took to Twitter on Monday morning to issue an apology for homophobic tweets she made almost a decade ago.

This comes after a Twitter user dug up Boity’s old tweets that she tweeted almost 10 years ago.

In a series of tweets, the #WuzDat hitmaker is bashing some of the local soapies for showing gay couples.

“This dude is exactly like Senzo. How creepy. And I think he might be gay. Lord forbid. Death,” – the SA celeb made a reference to the former Generations actor Thami Mngqolo, who portrayed a gay man character.

Menzi, who is one of most notable actors in South Africa, is angered by social media posts joking about him dying. His wife called the pranks disrespectful and asking for them to stop.

Last week, a tweet emerged saying “Breaking: Menzi Ngubane peacefully passed by a gas station in Pretoria, June 7 2018…”

Some people didn’t notice that it was a joke, they won’t on both Twitter and Facebook to pay their tributes to Ngubane and his family. Other people were quick to notice that it was a joke and shared it with their friends.
