They’ve come a long way to make the grade, and now they’re joining Craze! Meet the new additions to the spunky and charismatic Craze youngsters: Charnte Hartzenberg, Jerida Tsipa, Mpho Mofokeng, Thabiso Seboka and Vuyokazi Mtwa.

The five newly-crowned winners of the Craze presenter search will appear across various shows including Sistahood, Frenzy and Shiz Live daily, joining the talented line up of Craze presenters who have been holding the fort.

Studying towards a Bachelor of Science in molecular and cell biology at the University of the Witwatersrand is Jerida Tsipa. Jerida says she is blessed and grateful to be granted the opportunity to be a Craze presenter and hopes to inspire young individuals in the same way Basetsana Khumalo has inspired her, one day. When asked what she is passionate about, she added science, and specifically women in science, to her passion for presenting.

Hailing from Vosloorus is the talented Mpho Mofokeng, a creative, artist and entertainer at heart, who is out to build a brand that young people can look up to.

The super talented DJ Puggy, whose real name is Maphokoane Serobanyane, is originally from Bloemfontein but is currently based in Soweto and this is where she musical journey started in back in 2009.

Vth Season’s newest signee, Eastern Cape born, Nelson Mandela University (NMU) accounting student, Ami Faku (pronounced ahh-me), launched her debut single, Ndikhethe Wena, this past Friday on a high note.

Known to have blown away all four judges on The Voice SA last year, Ami Faku has lived up to expectations and is currently blowing away listeners on radio stations across the country with her debut offering.

Since it’s debut on Friday, Ami Faku’s Ndikhethe Wena has been playlisted by 18 radio stations including the likes of Metro FM, Capricorn FM, Power FM, Tru FM, North West FM, UJ FM and Thobela FM just to name a few.

Ndikhethe Wena is currently charting on the North West FM Top 40 Chart and the cover artwork is featured on the landing page of JOOX SA.

Nokuthula Moilwa aka Pinky Mcpurpley

Pinky Mcpurpley whose real name is Nokuthula Moilwa is a 23-year-old South African female hip-hop artist, entrepreneur and photographer from Johannesburg.

Pinky Mcpurpley was the first ever female artist to make it to the Jagermeister and the only female finalist on the #GigiGoesGold competition brought by Mabala Noise.

Pinky, who was recently featured on the front page of local newspaper Daily Sun, YoTV and Shizlive, was featured on the recently released Tape by Hip Hop Live SA including an episode alongside Benchmarq, Shabzi Medallion, Jimmy Wizz and a number of hip-hop artists and has over 30 000 followers on Twitter.

She has always been involved in arts from the early age of 11 when she was in theatre arts in a group called M.U.K.A where they did drama, dance, poetry and choral music. She went on to play soccer at a senior level for WITS ladies football club.

In high school she was involved in debate, public speaking and was part of the student representatives at school.

Her career as a hip hop artist began in November 2015. Mcpurpley has gone to release 4 singles of which have been played on Vow FM, Stamparama FM in the UK, Hillbrow community radio, CosmoFM, Rawjamz online radio station, Belter radio (UK) Venrap radio station, Madibaz radio and Trultimate records in Zimbabwe and is currently in the top 10 chart in Zimbabwe.

Earlier this month, the fourth season of Presenter Search on 3 saw six brand new faces joining the SABC 3 family.

While initially looking for three new presenters to join the SABC 3 stable, judges Patience Stevens, DJ Fresh, Sbusiso Kumalo and Jeannie D were impressed by the overwhelming amount of talent and have decided to open up the industry even further by welcoming Harmony Katulondi, Ryle De Morny, Fezile Mkhize,Palesa Tembe, and Thabiso Makhubela to the SABC 3 family with Mosa Kaiser grabbing a role as Expresso’s new field presenter.

Joining the Expresso family is brand strategist Thabiso Makhubela. Since his first audition, Thabiso easily cemented himself as a frontrunner in the competition. The new Expresso presenter gained a massive support system on social media during the season and overcame obstacles to win over the judges in what has been described as the show’s most impressive season to date.

What has been the highlight of your time on Presenter Search on 3? 

The highlight of my time with Presenter Search on 3 has to be the two takeovers we did of the Expresso morning show and Top Billing. Those moments were so surreal because in those times, I actually lived out a dream.

What has been the biggest lesson this experience has taught you?

The single biggest lesson this experience has taught me is to take a chance on myself. Many people often have dreams and interests they would like to pursue but hold themselves back. Each week, I saw myself take a chance. I wasn’t always in a comfortable space but I got in there and gave it the best I could.

Ancio van Tonder is without a doubt one of the most talented figure skaters in South Africa. The 20-year-old figure skater from Cape Town discovered his figure skating skills at the age of 3.

As a 3-year-old toddler, Ancio’s amazing talent was spotted by one of the elite coaches at Grand West Casino and was told to take professional lessons. 2 years later he went to SA nationals. At the age of 7, he received South African colours for competing in Zagreb, Croatia where he placed 1st.

Speaking of his skating career, van Tonder had to leave South Africa in order to pursue his skating career.

“I left home at the age of 12 to train in Canada with World renowned and Olympic coaches to further my skating career. Since then I have been 8 time South African National Champion, I have competed at multiple international competitions and have been on the Junior Grand Prix circuit for 3 years,” – Ancio said.

He further added that in 2014 he was part of a Reality TV show in India “Dare2Dance” ( similar concept to dancing with the stars ). He was hired as the professional skater and his celebrity partner came 2nd on the show.

Dirty Poet plans to be Mzansi’s next leading hip-hop artist by December

Dirty Poet rapper from Cape Town who began rapping in 2012 whilst in Durban plans to take over the music industry with his sound.

The young artist has taken a different step with his music career, a step that saw him quitting his job in Cape Town and moving all the way to Lagos, Nigeria to launch his career.

“I felt my sound would be more accepted in Nigeria because its similar to their current sound, which is Afro-pop and it’s also the right place for me to make international collaboration,” says Dirty Poet.

Signed to Cash Hop, Dirty Poet has released his first single Questions on digital platforms Soundcloud and Audiomack. The single was produced in South Africa by Mr Kamera and Zino D and it definitely has potential to top the charts.
